Assuming you use owner to log in to Windows, you should find the Application Information folder inside the owner folder. Still, it may be subconscious because this is the default state under Windows XP.
To make it visible:

i. Open up My Computer
ii. Go to the Tools carte du jour and select Folder Options
iii. Select the View tab
4. In the Advanced settings window look for the Hidden files and folders entry and select the radio button alongside Show hidden files and folders.
5. Click on Utilize.

After you've finished it'due south appropriate to hibernate the folder again by selecting the radio button alongside Do not prove hidden files and folders and clicking on OK.

I hope this helps

Joe, in add-on to what Stephen wrote, note that if you have multiple Windows users, there will be unlike statistics for each Windows user. This is because Windows stores application information in a dissimilar folder for each Windows user. Then if yous log on every bit 1 user, yous won't come across the statistics from another Windows users.

Maureen,
If you are reinstalling Windows, you are probably going to take to reinstall the game. Reinstalling Windows commonly erases everything and y'all accept to reinstall.

As I read this, I think that Maureen was referring to retaining her statistics after she reinstalls the software.

>My computer was down three times and fifty-fifty when I re-enter my name on the game I usually have to showtime from the begining.

If you still take access to the figurer, backup the Pretty Practiced Solitaire data folder. In Windows XP (or Windows 2000), information technology is:

"usually the C:\Documents and Settings\[Windows User Proper noun]\Application Data\Goodsol\Pretty Good Solitaire folder, where [Windows User Proper noun] is your user proper name for Windows." (from http://www.goodsol.com/support/data.html)

Subsequently reinstalling Pretty Skillful Solitaire on the new copy of Windows, y'all should exist able to restore the same folder and have all of your previous statistics available. (Y'all volition have to reset your 'Favorites', notwithstanding.)

If you do non have access to the data folder, then you lot will probably have to restart again. In any case, if your statistics are important to you, I would recommend backing up the PGS data binder regularly in case of a arrangement crash.

I hope that helps. :-)

Gregg, yous remind me that I lost my favorites more than in one case, and I probably forgot some games that I liked. I hope that in the new PGS at that place will be some convenient way to save this listing.

Honestly, I am not certain how likely that will be (though it is on the proposition list).

Withal, for now, here is how 1 can backup (and later, restore) the 'Favorites' for all players in the current version of Pretty Good Solitaire.

1. Run 'regedit.exe'
2. Highlight the following "key" on the left:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Goodsol\PGS\Favorites
three. Select 'File|Export...' from the menu
4. Save the above registry central to disk
5. Backup the registry (.reg) file equally appropriate

To restore the favorites later, simply scan to the registry file (in Windows Explorer) and double-click on information technology. Alternatively, one can run 'regedit.exe' and use the 'File|Import...' card choice, and browse from there.

NOTE: This backup/restore process but works for ALL users, and so restoring a fill-in will overwrite any previous 'Favorites' for every player proper name.

Alert: Never explicitly alter whatsoever settings in the registry unless y'all know exactly what you are doing. Altering a value incorrectly could invalidate a license code or even crusade Windows to fail to kicking.

In many cases, it is probably easier just to write downwardly or print the 'Favorites' list and add the games manually. :-)

I take this "Warning" seriously and never alter the registry. After several losses of the list I saved a screenshot of the start page of the list. Since I saved that, I never had to employ it, but if in that location were a convenient manner to print the whole list (not copy information technology manually) it would exist a good solution.
